Millennium Cup 2024

It was great to have the Millennium Cup back in Auckland again. We were really looking forward to racing around the Hauraki Gulf with SY Sassafras and ‘newbies’ to the Mill Cup – SY Perseus 3. Some great crew and owners alike.

The introduction also of multihulls – Kotuku, Cat+Ion and Outnumbered, added greatly to the regatta. A mixed weather bag was on offer but didn’t dampen anyone’s’ spirits.

Perseus 3 took the cup title this year. Let’s hope we see them, and some more exciting entries back in the future to NZ shores.
